NALMA's National Lands Managers Gathering

NALMA sponsors the capacity building National Gatherings in association with a Regional Lands Association host with financial support from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC, formerly INAC).

Objectives for the Gatherings have been established to provide an opportunity for First Nation Lands Mangers to:

  • learn, share and develop new methods for effective land management

  • participate in professional development activities

  • receive information on the current status and emerging developments in departmental land management policies and national issues related to land management

  • network with other Lands Managers and other interested parties
